Sekoia Agente de Valores S.A. is committed to safeguarding the interests of investors, with transparency and integrity as its primary goals in financial market operations.

Regulation
In Uruguay, Agentes de Valores are regulated and supervised by the Superintendencia de Servicios Financieros (SSF) of the Banco Central del Uruguay (BCU). The SSF-BCU ensures a solid, ethical, and transparent financial environment, thus protecting the interests of both investors and the market in general.

To operate, Securities Agents must obtain the corresponding authorization from the SSF-BCU, complying with rigorous regulatory requirements regarding capital, infrastructure, training, and operational capacity. This demanding authorization process aims to ensure the financial soundness and ability to face potential contingencies of Uruguayan Agentes de Valores.

Sekoia Agente de Valores S.A. has satisfactorily fulfilled all necessary requirements and is duly authorized as an Agente de Valores in the Registro del Mercado de Valores, Sección Bolsas de Valores e Intermediarios de Valores by the Banco Central del Uruguay.

Regulations establish strict rules of conduct for Agentes de Valores, demanding fair and ethical business practices. Sekoia Agente de Valores S.A. is obligated to act in the best interest of its clients, providing clear, sufficient, timely, and truthful information. Additionally, the SSF conducts ongoing supervision to verify compliance with the regulatory framework, performing inspections, requesting information, and conducting periodic audits of Securities Agents' activities. This constant oversight contributes to maintaining transparency in the operations of Securities Agents and strengthens confidence in Uruguay's financial system.
